Watercolor Artist Barbara Swift has a passion for colorful, bold and happy art. The subjects she chooses brings the viewers into her uniquely beautiful world. Her paintings are inspired by the gorgeous beaches and tropical landscapes of her southwest Florida home, where she has lived since 2006.
She was born and raised in the Midwest state of Michigan, where she has always been drawn to the beautiful surroundings of the Great lakes and lush forests of the state. Now her creative energy is sparked by all the new experiences tropical Florida has to offer.
She, her husband and their little dogs have traveled all over the country displaying her artwork at galleries and art fairs. Meeting so many people and learning about various places has influenced the paintings she creates today. Through her career, she has won numerous prestigious awards for her art, and is proud to have many collectors of her work.
