Helping Us
A Big Big Thank You!

We are delighted with our new, larger porch and its beautiful cover! Local contractor Derek Beck generously supplied the materials, making this project possible. While our new porch is almost complete, Mr. Beck will be adding spindles to the railing to ensure the safety of our patrons and artists. Some members have already begun enjoying the porch by plein air painting under its cover on warm days. To show our appreciation for his generous donation, the board has voted to place a plaque on the porch in his honor.
Thank you, Mr. Beck and Beck Companies!

Improvements to

Our Gallery!

The Board has agreed on several improvements for the Gallery before we reopen in September. We plan to paint the exterior of the building and are looking for a qualified painter who can work within our budget. As the building needs a good pressure washing, much of the old paint will be removed, making a fresh coat necessary. Additionally, we aim to enhance the landscaping around the grounds, which includes enlarging the sidewalk around the new steps. Another plan is to create a cat feeding station, allowing neighbors who feed the cats to leave food in a dish rather than in cans and on paper plates that are often left behind.

Watercolor Workshop

with Barbara Swift

Watercolor Workshop with Barbara Swift Barbara Swift offered a Wednesday Watercolor Workshop on four Wednesdays in May. The workshops had several participants, all of whom were delighted with the new techniques they learned. Barbara dedicated a lot of her time to these workshops, providing them at a budget-friendly price. Thank you, Barbara! We hope she will offer another class in the fall.
