A Month of Community Volunteers and Creative Expressions at LaBelle Gallery

So much going on at the Gallery this month! But first, let’s give a big hand to Stella, Diana and Stacy (Others Too) for a great reception for the “Fall for the Arts” show on November 10th! Thanks to all involved it was a great success! The art was incredible!

*** All Members meeting Tuesday, December 6th at 5pm! *** This is the Board elections meeting, the first one since covid. Please, if you are a current member, come to the meeting and participate. Your input means a lot!

Our Christmas Tree is up and full of Ornaments for sale! There is still plenty of room on it for more if you are still making them. The ornaments are only $5.00 each and a great way to donate to the Gallery to keep it running. Speaking of, the Gallery’s dedicated members have started crafting a new classroom space to host art classes, but they can’t do it alone. To make this vision a reality, the gallery is reaching out to the community, seeking sponsors or volunteers who are passionate about nurturing creativity. If you’re interested in supporting the completion of this valuable space, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with a gallery or board member. Your contribution will play a vital role in expanding artistic opportunities within our community. We have access to the space now, it is rough but will suffice. We are still looking for donations and sponsors so we can put some A.C. in for classes. Volunteers are welcome to help with patch and paint too!

As we bid farewell to November, we look forward to the continued growth of our artistic community and the exciting events that the gallery has in store for the future. In December, the gallery is embracing the theme of “Lights & Brights.” This theme invites artists and visitors alike to explore the wealth of creativity and inspiration that surrounds us, reminding us to appreciate the ideas in our world.

On December 2nd, we will be having another “Art Adventure” making a family Christmas decoration with Stella! “Art Adventures” are geared toward young artists with creative minds of all ages! Arrive to the LaBelle Gallery anytime between 9am-1pm on December 2nd until supplies run out. Fill your tree or stockings with creativity and joy! Suggested donations are $10 per person to help pay for supplies and improvements at the Gallery. We will have a space ready for you to paint!

On December 14th, we will be having a “Fluid Art” class at 6:30pm with Barbara Swift. all supplies included! No drawing or prior skills needed! Bring along yourself and some friends (B.Y.O.B.) Sign up at The Gallery or Text Barbara at 863-484-2zerozerofive. $ 45 for Non-Members, $ 35 for Members!
