Mission Statement
“To facilitate and nurture the creation, development, promotion and education of
arts and culture in the inland communities of South Florida”
Our Vision
Provide a thriving art gallery and gift shop open to the public.
Participate in local events and festivals.
Work with school art teachers to hold student art shows.
Provide a venue for artists, photographers and authors to lecture.
Provide an array of classes and workshops for children and adults.
Hold an art festival each year.
Provide quilters with a venue to display and sell fabric art.
Allow community organizations a place for socials and meetings.
Provide a venue for private citizens weddings, receptions, parties, etc.
Provide 2 juried and judged art shows each year.
Hold receptions open to the community.
History of Arts of the Inland Gallery
Barron Park House Gallery falls under the direction of Arts of the Inland,
a 501 (c) 3 not for profit organization, founded in 2010
December 2014 – AOI began negotiating with the City of LaBelle to acquire the Christy House property located on the Caloosahatchee River for the purpose of establishing an art gallery. (See attached history of the Christy House)
January 2015 – City of LaBelle approved AOI’s use of the Christy House for an art gallery.
February 2015 – Barron Park House Gallery Committee was established. Members meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month or more if necessary.
March 2015 – FP&L sent 20 volunteers to renovate the Christy House. 10 volunteers from the City of LaBelle and AOI also participated in the project.
April 2015 – The 1st juried and professionally judged Art Show was held at BPHG.
26 SWFL artists participated.
April 2015 – The 1st art show reception was held. 200 people attended.
2015 – BPHG was open for 8.5 months and had 1052 people sign the guestbook. That is 123 visitors per month.
March 2016 – BPHG opens its Gift Shop.
2016 – BPHG was open for 11 months with 1592 vistors who signed the guestbook. That is 145 visitors per month.
2017 – 2025 BPHG ( Barron House Park Gallery ) is now Arts of The Inland Gallery and is stronger than ever!
About Us
We are Visual, Literary and Performing Artists of the inland communities of South Florida. As a 501(c)(3) organization, the Arts of the Inland, along with our patrons and sponsors, are committed and dedicated to recognizing the talent and power of artists in this special area.
Member of Art Council of Southwest Florida, a 501(c)3 organization which consists of 19 affiliated organizations from Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry & Glades counties with combined membership of over 6,750 artists. Provider of grants to qualified students in artistic endeavors.
Member of Clewiston and LaBelle Chambers of Commerce. Collaborative Partners with LaBelle Downtown Revitalization Corp., Lehigh Community Services, Americana Community Music Association, River Forest Club and Gulf Coast Music.
